The School of Public Health develops leaders who are supremely prepared to navigate the future of health care by offering unparalleled education and training to meet the needs of a changing health care landscape that demands leaders who are adaptable, innovative, creative and service-minded.

We offer five different degrees ranging from undergraduate to master’s and doctoral degrees across five different departments. Additionally, we offer minor areas of study in public health and occupational safety health to supplement other Texas A&M degrees. With a low student-to-faculty ratio, each scholar receives personalized attention and ample access to the school’s distinguished faculty, which includes some of the nation’s most cited researchers in public health.

Through six distinguished research centers, the School of Public Health is testing and studying population health initiatives aimed at preventing disease and improving health across Texas and beyond. From assisting policymakers at state and national levels to identify and prioritize public health issues, to discovering and fostering community health initiatives that reduce health care spending, the work of students and faculty at the School of Public Health is an integral component in the evolution of the health care system.
