International internships, along with study abroad and language immersion programs, provide opportunities to work and study around the globe. Our students interact with an array of prominent public figures, speakers and visitors in state-of-the-art classrooms.
We offer graduate in-residence degrees and online certificate programs, helping students pursue their dreams of careers in the public arena, doing challenging work in difficult places and making a difference.
A SOLID FOUNDATION OF THEORY AND PRACTICE
Our faculty are a unique, integrated mix of internationally acclaimed scholars, noted diplomats and practitioners who have distinguished careers in public service. Former students are serving in positions of public service leadership around the world, including in Washington, D.C. and in local communities throughout Texas. “In a hundred years, I would like historians to look back and say, ‘From that school came generation after generation of people who were committed to public service for the right reasons – they believed that public service is noble, and they believed that they could make a difference.’”
